Hi, I have a recurring problem with propagations in Studio (currently 2019): - when localising a unit, such as 10mm for instance, I want to have 10mm, however the autopropagated segments keep removing the non-breaking space, which is annoying for tech spec files where there are hundreds of these things.
What is the best solution to make sure these are autopropagated correctly?

Dear Jean-Christophe,
Have you tried Project Settings -> Language Pairs -> (invidual language pair) -> Translation Memory and Automated Translation -> Auto-substitution -> Measurements -> Always insert a non-breaking space between number and unit?

Some files/projects do not have any autosubstitution under the TM section

Some files/projects do not have any autosubstitution under the TM section, yet they autopropagate automatically and remove the (hard )spaces. How can I set Studio to propagate the measures correctly in this case?

The Autosubstitution option is only available for a specific language pair. Make sure you select such a specific language pair when looking for the Autosubstitution option. Probably you select All language pairs instead.

I have checked under both entries, but I tkink this is due to the project being prepared on a server/different system... Yet, Studio does remove the spaces.
