Is there any software that I could use to create my own dictionaries? I am lookinf for something that I can use to import excel files with different columns and that allows me to add notes on entries (on the dictionary software).
I know there is multiterm, but are there any other applications?

Thank you!

Why don't you convert your excel file to .dict?

There are many DICT clients through which you can access your own dictionary as well as those which are available freely online.

A program that I've been using for donkey's years and wouldn't be without.

WordFinder can include 10 or 12 dictionaries in a loop (I forget how many) that you can toggle through if you wish, plus several more to choose from individually. When you find the word you are looking for just paste it in to replace.
Simply insert 'new' words in your home-made glossary.
Really quick and easy.
