Robert Frost 這位詩人我還認得，也知道 frost 是什麼意思，知道霜露的區別，看到晨霜卻沒想到那個 frost 呢！Gully 這個字也很妙。謝啦！

One thing I'd like to point out is the interpretation of 陇地. I think it refers to 甘肃, not 四川.

只是抱著『提攜』年青人的心情，別無他意。其實全詩最令我欣賞的就是『陇地何日皆如此，空对山渊恨不平』這兩句。不知『小平』有沒有『他意』。面對山溝生活的艱苦，不公平的現象，何時才可以平息怨憤呢！這算是PK多疑吧！

謝謝 Steven 指出。蜀中和隴地確實是兩碼。是我搞錯。傅老來自甘肅，我應該早想到。
翻譯工作往往需要許多人商討，消除各自不懂的和可能搞錯的地方。這樣截長補短、互相學習很有用處。

PK 兄快人快語，這在我們的行業是好的。那個「恨不平」應該是小小的抱怨差距太大。其實，對傅兄和我們這種歷盡滄桑的人而言，「小平」即可。:D

不瞞老哥說，我曾祖也是前清的小官，在前清台灣特首林本源手下掌理統治策略的，他是家中老二，但老來方得子，對那兒子 (我祖父) 寵得過頭，最後讓他帶了兩個書僮到唐山周遊，希望有朝一日入京為官，沒想到那小子愛混 (這個性隔代遺傳給我了)，不愛當官，還是回台灣開了個私塾教漢文，也是老來才得子 (我老爸)，可惜當時台灣已經成了日本的屬地，我老爸半生是受日本教育的日本台灣人，在學校裡教日文，而我不幸地是他最小的兒子，是在中國內戰後國民黨統治的台灣出生長大，所以習慣漢文化，也習慣上一代的日本作風。
從北京回到上海，還是感到 "不到上海不知錢少" 的真實。這兒酒店價碼挺嚇人的。在北京蠻自卑自己不是大官的子弟，到上海又自卑軟囊羞澀，可惜再過幾天就得回那個還在搞文革的台灣，否則應該先到海南去試試自己身子好不好。但願遇上 chance 時，還不至於勞煩她幫我推輪椅。:D
說笑的，請各位兄長別介意。我總覺得「小平」即可，這一生倒不至於錢多到視為「阿堵物」的地步，還得勞累奔波方得衣食無憂呢。;)

真是孤陋寡闻啊，这个王安没听说过，相对来说，我对西交大的感情更深一些，氛围也更好。

呵，樂音兄，這兩地我都去了，印象深刻。當年沒留在蘭州雖然是對的，但對蘭州及河西走廊的印象無法忘卻。路上遇到的那些在文革時落戶的人家，更是無法遺忘。
