I'd like to brush up my very rusty Arabic. I thought that listening to audio books might help, but when I googled for Arabic audio books the only products that I found where either CDs for children or religious CDs. Are audio books not popular in the Arab world?

Contact and query Jarir Bookstore in Garden Grove, California
May 21, 2008
Greetings.
You might contact and query the good people at the Jarir Bookstore in Garden Grove, California.
I think Jarir is the U.S. distributor for some Arabic audio books published in UK and Lebanon.
If Jarir Bookstore does not carry those audio books, they likely can refer you to other outlets in the Arabic-language publishing and bookstore industry which may have them.
Hope this helps.... khair, in shaa' Allah.
Regards,
