Bio
I am a graduate of the Master's Programme in
Audiovisual Translation (Medientext und Medienübersetzung) at the University of
Hildesheim.
I gained some experience in translating during an
internship during which I translated legal, medical, technical and audiovisual
texts. I have also gained some experience in subtitling during my studies. For
example, I took part in a project subtitling a Spanish movie called “El Rey
Tuerto“ in German. I translate from and into the languages English, Spanish and
German. I am also able to translate from and into my other mother tongues Greek
and Arabic as well as from French.
I am
familiar with Microsoft Office as well as with the subtitling and transcription
softwares EZTitles and f4/ f5-Transcript respectively and I am a fast learner
and eager and willing to expand my knowledge and further my skills.
