Olho-te — e aí estás, ó Homem meu.
Tu, que encarnas a imagem de todos os homens que vieram antes de nós; tu, que ao meu lado dormes teu sono de pedra: mármore, é teu corpo nu sob as colchas; carne, é teu peito à mostra, sobre o qual deito meu rosto e barba:
meus pelos embaraçando-se aos teus — nós.
Olho-te — e, profundo, ressonas. E sei que sonhas, pois, baixo, sussurras palavras que desconheço. Amor, amor, não dizes; meu nome, não. Mas, adormecido, ainda, pousas tua mão esquerda sobre o meu dorso, e, com a direita, acaricias os meus cabelos.
E no teu peito, mais me aninho. E eis que súbito te despertas: Incubus & Incubus — nós.
Olho-te — e como és vivo! Tens olhos vítreos, a boca entreaberta. E como tu, é viva a língua que, a ti, invoca: Amor, Amor. E, Amor, Amor, respondes-me, e, de amor, servimo-nos. Amor:

Translation - English All the men, the man
I look at you ---- and there you are. Oh, my man.

Love: the slobber that our bodies sip ---- dick & mouth and mouth & dick; love: the slobber that between the breeches runs: the thread of the slobber, sap, the shine of the slobber, which is mine, on your slobbered lips ---- us.
I look at you ---- and you are all landscape, of valleys and hills, mountains and cliffs, corals and bluffs. A forest you are, the thickest one: Amazonia. And yes, you are Lake, Terê-Petrópolis; and Serra dos Órgåos: Dedo de Deus; in London, all the threes and bushes at Bushy Park; and more to the North, all the Heathers and streams along the Long Mynd. Yes, your body: geodesic landmark of mine, matter of pleasure: magma-us.
You look at me ------ I look at you: and here we are, between hedges and goats, between rues and sages, and myrtles and rosemary; mariterra & terrimar, your taste and smell: Mediterranean. Behold-us, at the highest spot on the Capri island, us alone between the ruins. “See? Villa Jovi, house of Tiberius, the libertine Emperor” And there, really deep in horizon we see ---- again and again ----- the world ending.

Bio
Although based in Berlin now, I have lived most of my life between England and Brazil working in the Arts industry, for which I have an extended CV.
I started translating late in life, working for one of the main media and entertainment subtitle providers - and I loved it. Reading and writing have been a passion since very early years so I was not surprised to find language - and the connection between two languages so interesting.
I currently work pro bono for Amara, which content brings me back to my BA in Social Sciences, completed before I moved into Visual Arts. To help disseminate such content gives me hope for a better world.
My interest in translation is to produce texts and dialogues that flow; above all else, it must read well. Not at the expense of meaning nor cultural context, but within it.
I feel comfortable enough in my English to translate both ways.
Traveling, eating and cooking are things that I like doing and know a lot about it. Same goes for films, literature and series.
