My professional background is in professional ESL (English as Second Language) instructor for companies in Germany, in the following sectors: finance, banking, real estate, pharmaceuticals, information technology, insurance & re-insurance, logistics and automotive.

I also have had 3 years freelance German-to-English translation in children's/adult literature and school textbooks, in Cologne, Germany.

I have a B.A. in English literature and German language, double major, and a total of of 23 years experience with German culture, living as an U.S. expat in the Cologne - Bonn region of Germany, and that includes dealing with the German tax system on an annual basis.

I have also written five novels in English, and published four of them.

I enjoy reading, currently in non-fiction and international history, but I am also interested in good fiction.
