My name is Hugh Lester, but I prefer to be called Jake.

I am an experienced Arabic to English and English to Arabic translator with more than 20 years of experience in the field. Fully bilingual, I am a native speaker of English and Arabic.

I am a native speaker of MSA and Egyptian colloquial, and am near-native in Levantine and Gulf/Iraqi Arabic.

Although I specialize in legal and financial translations, I also have extensive experience in translation for international organizations and copywriting/transcreation for advertising/marketing/PR.
