Bio

Hi!

I'm Sam. I specialise in medical translations.

Originally from New Zealand and a native speaker of English, I am based in Austria/Switzerland.

I recently pursued medical studies at the Medizinische Universität in Innsbruck (2015-2018). Prior to that, I was based in Norway, completing a 4-year degree in European languages and linguistics from the University of Oslo, Norway, followed by a two-year Master's in Scandinavian languages (specialisation: applied linguistics) from the Universities of Vienna and Oslo, completing additional papers in anthropology, musicology, psychology and international law.

In my spare time I'm a pianist and composer, and was the youngest elected member on the board of the Upper Austrian Composers' Association until moving to Switzerland in 2018.
