I am a journalist by education (BA, California State University Humboldt), and my professional experience includes reporting and editing for daily newspapers and in-house publications (hospital, supercomputing center). For more than 20 years, I worked in Greece as a teacher of English as a foreign language, and received an advanced diploma in TESOL from the Open University in 2002. I sat the IoL Dip. Trans. exam in January 2008 (Greek>English) and passed all three papers with Merit. Since then, I have been working steadily as a freelance translator doing a variety of jobs, from tourist guides and news articles to business financials and official or legal documents. I have done a number of projects in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. I will do the research necessary to ensure an accurate result with on-time delivery.
