Creating bilingual XLS files with multiple tabs

I am looking for a solution to facilitate the translation of XLS files with multiple tabs.
So far the only solution I have found is to translate the file in Studio or whatever, then to copy the translation beside the English column.
This is OK when there is one or two tabs, but as soon as there more, it becomes complicated.
Any ideas?

If you copy the source column into the target column and then hide the source column, you can then translate the file in your CAT tool. Afterwards just unhide the source column and you have the bilingual worksheet.

Do you mean the "hide column" command in Excel?
Can it be "unhidden" afterwards?

For info, the command to "unmask" the Excel columns is buried into the Home tab, Cell group -> Hide / Unhide.
And yes, creating two columns and hiding one remains the easiest way to generate bilingual Excel files. It is probably possible to create a macro for this.
